With music, dancing, food, film, art and nature activities for all ages, the 5th Annual Winter Hoot on the weekend of February 3-5 welcomes the community, one and all, for a spirit-raising good time in mid-winter! Hear world-class musical acts from our Hudson Valley region and beyond!
Saturday’s performance hall lineup features: beautiful songstress Natalie Merchant, beloved songwriter Dan Bern, award-winning blues duo Annie Raines & Paul Rishell, Hudson Valley fiddle and folk duo Jay Ungar & Molly Mason, heartfelt rural-rockers The Mike + Ruthy Band, all-ages folk experimentalists Elizabeth Mitchell & You Are My Flower, sweet Catskills storyteller Story Laurie, and Ithaca string-band Home Remedy.
Come for a few hours or the whole weekend – tickets are pay what you can. Indoor lodging is available in the comfortable Longhouse and Red Maple Lodge rooms. Proceeds from the Hoots support The Ashokan Center’s outdoor environmental education programs, facility improvements, and ongoing community outreach. All donations are tax deductible.
