A Northern Gathering

Friday, July 23th – Tuesday, July 27th
Ashokan’s 2021 summer Music & Dance Gatherings will be a chance to relax, recharge and restore. Join kindred spirits for guided nature hikes, outdoor mini-concerts, and jam sessions led by top musicians plus impromptu adventures and fun. The schedule will be “dry erase” to provide an opportunity for staff and campers to initiate workshops and informal musical get togethers. We’re excited about the possibilities that will open up by providing time and space for new ideas and onsite spontaneity.

Hike to Cathedral Gorge, eat delicious food by Chef Bill, Jam with old and new friends and John Krumm, Tom Krumm, Laurie Hart, Stuart Kenney, lydia ievins, Tim Ball, Mary Cay Brass and Jay Ungar & Molly Mason! Stan Fowler will be our lifeguard.

The Ashokan Center builds community through shared experiences in nature, history, music and art. For 40 years we have hosted traditional Music & Dance Camps at our 385 nature preserve. In 2020 we learned how to host them online. In 2021 we are reimagining how to gather in person.

Come join the Ashokan family to celebrate, learn, connect, deepen your music, make new friends, and brighten your day. Our events are open to all folks, all ages and all orientations.

Join our email list to learn about more upcoming online offerings.

Connect on Facebook with your fellow campers before, during, and after!
