The Ashokan Center is looking for a bright, energetic, customer service/detail oriented and flexible individual to fill the full-time position of Cook.
As a member of The Ashokan Center culinary team, your responsibilities include but are not limited to preparing food for meals in accordance to menu, food prep before meals, assisting the Executive Chef with the menu planning and food ordering, maintaining a clean and sanitized work space. Compensation is an hourly rate.
Experience cooking in a professional kitchen is required as is an understanding of kitchen tools and equipment.
The Ashokan Center’s bucolic 385-acre campus hosts residential outdoor/environmental education for elementary school children, world famous music & dance camps, weddings and retreats.
You must have a valid drivers’ license and pass a criminal background check. References are required.
