Winter Hoot 2025

Tickets & lodging are on sale now for the 12th Annual Winter Hoot—a heartwarming, down-to-earth roots music gathering where everyone is welcome, and joy is abundant. Drop by for your favorite bands or activities or stay the whole weekend.

We will kick off Friday with a VIP donor reception, a delicious community dinner, lively concert by Jay Ungar & Molly Mason, and jam session. The celebration continues all day and night Saturday with music from The Mammals, Kyshona, Jay Ungar & Molly Mason, Billy Keane & the Waking Dream, Rachael Davis & R.O. Shapiro, Louie Lou Louis, Catskills Old-time Stringband, and Picnic Committee plus ice sculpture by Thomas Brown, blacksmithing demos, mini-concerts in the pewter shop, kids’ zone activities, square dancing, and delicious local food and libations. Sunday morning closes the event with yoga and a heartfelt farewell singalong.

Friday Concert Only $25 / Saturday Full Day $40 / Sunday Yoga & Sing $10
Kids under 18 attend the hoot for free!

Need financial assistance? Sign up to volunteer! Sliding scale is also available at the door. No one turned away for lack of funds.
Have more to give? Donations gratefully accepted. Ashokan donors of $250+/annually are invited to the VIP kick-off reception Friday 4pm.

We also invite you to enjoy our weekend lodging at Ashokan! Overnight guests are invited to enjoy this event (admission included). Explore our miles of hiking trails and relax in our comfy rooms.

Interested in weekend lodging or camping at the Hoot? All camping and Lodging is priced for the weekend (Friday & Saturday nights.) No single nights available.

Choose from cozy bunks in the Longhouse ($100 per person) and camping ($50 per tent or $100 per RV.) These prices include breakfast Sat & Sun in the dining hall.
