At the Ashokan Center, community is at the heart of everything we do—and on May 20, our community will come together in a powerful way for Hudson Valley Gives.
This year, we’re working toward an ambitious goal: raising $50,000 to support our programs in outdoor education, music, arts, and community experiences. And thanks to an incredible commitment from longtime Ashokan supporter Marianne Kearney, every gift will go twice as far.
Marianne is matching all donations dollar-for-dollar, up to $25,000.
That means every contribution made during our HVG campaign will be doubled—helping us reach our goal and expand the impact of our work.
Marianne has been a dedicated member of the Ashokan community for years, giving her time as a volunteer and her support to ensure our programs remain accessible to all. Her generosity reflects a deep belief in what happens here every day.
As she puts it:
“The Ashokan Center’s mission to inspire learning and build community is more than ideal. It is real. Everyday, and in so many ways, nature, history, music and art become community building tools, always more than ends unto themselves.”
Hudson Valley Gives is more than a fundraiser—it’s an opportunity to invest in experiences that matter. Support from this campaign helps us:
- Provide outdoor education that inspires future environmental stewards
- Offer music and dance programs that nurture creativity across generations
- Host cultural events and festivals that bring people together
- Keep programs accessible through tiered pricing and scholarships
If you’ve been part of the Ashokan community—whether through a school program, a festival, a retreat, or a quiet walk across campus—you’ve experienced the impact of this place. Hudson Valley Gives is a chance to help ensure that experience remains available to others.
Looking ahead to May 20, we invite you to be part of it.
If you’re interested in going even further, you can also start your own fundraiser to support Ashokan. For help getting set up, reach out to Development Associate Marni Pasch at marni.pasch@ashokancenter.org.
Mark your calendar for May 20 and get ready to make twice the impact.
